National Police MemorialCollectable Memento
The Chequered Ribbon Association (Australian Federal Police) is honoured to produce this special commemorative edition Constable Kenny Koala to coincide with the dedication of the National Police Memorial. The Chequered Ribbon Association provides assistance to families of police officers killed in the line of duty as well as raising funds to perpetuate the memory of those police officers who have lost their lives serving the community. Kenny is about 25cm in height and is dressed in an AFP uniform, White Peak Cap and an old style jacket. Each Koala is individually numbered. Kenny comes in a special collectable box, which proudly displays the badges of all Australian State and Territory Police Services. Only 2,400 of these koalas will be released this financial year and they are expected to become collectable in coming years. The koalas are priced at $60 inclusive of postage and handling. KOALAS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT THE DEDICATION OF THE NATIONAL POLICE MEMORIAL ON FRIDAY 29 SEPTEMBER 2006.
